I believe Tim Baker or one of the fellows addresses paper bag backings in the TBB...I don't remember the Vol...however, fibers like linen, jute, sisal when applied and glued while the bow is in forced...

linen backed bow doesnt have to be forced into reflex, only if u want it to add performance. for protection it can just be glued on ithout reflexing. or did u mean that to prevent the bow into going...

How do you apply the canvas backing? What kind of glue do you use? Bought some canvas today, and tried to back a bow with it. Just used cheap elmers white glue, its water soluble anyway. Hope it keeps...
